Hi everybody,
took the wifes Surf in for its MoT on friday and whilst they were doing the brake test one of the rear metal brake lines split, causing the vehicle to loose all of its fluid and of course failing the MoT test. After getting the truck transported home I now need to get the pipe replaced, does anyone have any experience in changing these,as from the look of it I will have to remove the fuel tank in order to remove/replace the burst pipe. It appears to be the lower one of the two that run down the drivers side of the truck and from the toyota parts catalogue drawing it would seem to be one long pipe from front to rear. Any help or advice would be gratefully recieved. (although I am not a mechanic, I am capable of doing most jobs on cars)
Thanks in advance, Joe
