  • trying to find ideas for chargecooler rad.

looking into the fitting of a chargecooler from a subaru as you can get these pretty cheap lately, the only problem i have is fitting the radiator for it.

there is a 3 cm gap between the viscous fan and the original radiator which isn't much but i am trying to work out if the original radiator can be moved slightly forwards allowing the fitting of another rad in there?
will this cause any overheating issues?

i want to retain the viscous fan to cool the second rad even when stood still or slow moving.... that was the idea anyway.

    does the idea seem logical?

is a 2.4 rad slightly smaller than a 3.0 or are they the same?

i am currently searching for rads that would fit in the gap and don't have to be that big just enough to cool the fluid for the charge cooler. the orignal rad wont fit from the subaru as it's rectuangular and too big.

    ideas please.
Working...
