  • advice needed over cruise control and central locking

after buying my 2nd gen 3ltr dt surf i used it on the m50 and wondered after such a great run if it's hard to fit crusie control to one of these or not?
anyone have any knowledge of what's involved or needed?

also i have no remote locking, is there anyway of checking if it did have this or do i need a new unit and start again?

    thanks
    aaron

mine has a black box under the drivers seat for the remote central locking but if its just a key central locking then i suppose its door cards off and see if there's motorsin the doors

i shall have a look but it's key central locking at the moment.
i shall just buy a kit and go from there i think.

I fitted one of these to my Mk3 off of ebayhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Waeco-magic-sp...QQcmdZViewItem
it worked well and the speed pulse wire can easily be picked up behind the speedo all the parts were in the kit including the T piece for the vacuum take off.
