Still Ill!!!

Changed oil fuel and air fillter but shes still feeling poorly. The engine light seems to allways be on and the revs are still going up and down.I havent looked at the Timer Control Valve mesh filter(tcv) as im not sure where it is. There seems to be no loss of power yet! but still a little concerened.
1.where is the (TCV)?
2.If it needs replacing how much are they and will a computer check find it?
Any help with questions would be welcome.
