random buttons

i got another good one for ya.
when i bought my surf 6 months ago i soon realised it had 2 rear heater buttons. i figured out that the one by the steering wheel is the one that works the rear heater but the other one by the rear window switch is a mystery.
if you turn it on nothing happens. i've checked and rechecked everything and cannot figure this lil ####### out! its gettin power as the light comes on and it also drops the revs slightly so whatever it is its doin somethin big!

any ideas or funny comments welcome.

good point, completely forgot about the type etc.

its a 1995 3.0l kzn130 manual .

i dont think its an o/d,i've tried dropping the cluth n activating the button whilst in 5th gear and nothing happened.

it doesnt demist the rear window.

it doesnt seem to operate a diff lock, the car doesnt seem to alter at all except the revs twitch.

On mine it operated the front fog lights that were on the bullbar.

Except I took mine off so now it does f all.

Maybe yours has a short somewhere and is draining the power slightly???

Got any spot lights etc on it? mine has all the relays etc switch but someone must have had the lights away when or during it being imported.

yeah mine to has switch with a light for front spots but my truck also
has no spots on it they to were took off.
