Right just been out in my 3ltr ssr-x its been parked up over christmas with the Hardened suspention switched off , just been to pick the wife up from work when I go round a corner it feels like the rear is letting go of traction but it's not? like the body is swinging out at the rear??

Any ideas? bushes? roll bar? shockers?

    Cheers for any info

No idea m8. But i drove mine for the 1st time today since christmas eve. Pulled out the junction at the end of the road and the back wheels lit up like a drift car. It was fun, but could of all ended in tears as id pulled into a gap infront of a large lorry.

No think I'll have to have a look in the morning, think it could be bushes on the rear roll bar? or poss a torstion bar?

Is the pan hard checked at MOT? Mine feels similar to the OP's but has just passed MOT.

                      Thanks

This was the problem, bottom bolt had worked lose and come out the rubber had moved to just the right place so it wouldn't knock or bang tried to un do the top bolt and it sheard off so had to drill it out and put a bolt and nut in.

All feels nice and tight again thank god

Cheers for all the help anyway guys & Merry christmas & a Happy new year to all

I believe its the effects of salting the road, followed by a dry spell. Despite the salt improving matters when its icy, it makes things worse when its not until it gets washed away.
