Could Anyone Tell Me What Could Cause A 3.0 Knz Surf Consume Heavy Amounts Of Fuel

Guessing here, but blocked air filter or leaky pipework ?

When were your fuel and air filters changed ?

I take it you haven't got binding brakes or anything daft like that.

I also take it that you are not driving everywhere in low ratio or low gear.
Look out Eastbourne, the Pandas are coming !

        The ENGINE.

Truth is you'll only get 25 mpg at the most from it, what are you getting in terms of mileage to gallon

          Blocked/ dirty injectors also.

are you getting plumes of black smoke, also check the obvious.... That there are no diesel leaks (especially from the top of the injector pump or leak off pipes)

            Hi
have you had a look to see if the pump is leaking, i thought my fuel consumption was getting very heavy just lately, when i did a oil change the other day was wondering where all the oil underneath had come from, tracked it back to the fuel pump leaking, only leaks when the engine is running so you dont get a pool on the drive way
