  • Best way to refill the front diff?

I'm going to change the oil in the front diff (kzn130) tomorrow.

After a quick inspection just now, it looks like the refill hole is pretty high and may be difficult to pour oil into...

Am I worrying over nout or are there some recommended ways to do this, that make life easier?

I'm sure some of you guys have done this job before

    Ta

I use a modified pressure sprayer to fill my diffs and gearbox.

      Job done.

Thanks for the pump idea, might try that next time I change all the oils.

In the end I just dropped a length of hose down through the engine bay and filled it from the top. Worked remarkably well

I like the pressure sprayer idea might have to be making one of those myself

Wish i saw it before, took about 20 mins to fill the front axle with half a coke bottle and some 8mm tubing! it was more than slow..............

I usually end up with a 0.5 litre diff oil bottle...squeeze what i can of that into the diff, then refill the bottle from a 5 litre bottle and repeat. slow process and involves buying excess oil (I however had 2 surfs at the time and used all of it anyway).
Thinking of buying an OilSafe container with a pump for the next diff oil change tho.
