  • Turbo whine

Any idea why my turbo has started to whine? It's worse from cold and usually stops after a while. It's not the normal whirring noise more like a "quietish fanbelt squeal" if that makes any sense.

Just had my cylinder head done at a cost of over £1400 so I really could do without any more trouble for a while!!

Check the tension of the alternator belts.
Check all the large hoses before and after the turbo are secure and not leaking.
