Hi Guys, Ive just bought a gen.3 surf 3.0Td after previously owning a 2.4 gen.2 (yes I had the head gasket problem lol). Anyway I was just wondering if anyone has the TVN-3160 TV/SATNAV built into theres and if so do they no how to get the thing working in this country? Any help would be greatly appreciated

These things seem to work if you live a bit further East. My daughter has one in her Rav 4 in Cyprus. Had a play with it when we were over ther last year and actually managed to get a recognisable program on the TV, although couldn't understand a word they said as it was in Turkish.

The SatNav did work but seemed to think we were in the middle of the ocean as it didn't have a disc for the Eastern Med and probaly would not be one anyway as I think they are programed for Jap homeland only.

Had one in mine you will find the control box for it under the passenger seat. You cant get it to work, the TV works on a different system to ours the sat nav will come up but will show you that your in the sea!!!, Toyota dont do uk maps for it. So take it out get a good sound system and a CB with 100w burner and plug the hole
