    driving along fine today and then went to brake slowly the pedal creeped to the floor so i stoped and gave a while too let things cool down and still have same problem seems to pump fine but when kept under pressure will creep to the floor so i went on to check the normal stuff and couldnt find any leaks all pipes fine fuild level remains the same so am i correct in thinking master cylinder and if soo where will i find one i have checked milners and roughtrax they dont list them on there web page has anyone any idea and how much they cost

    yea I would definately say its your master cylinder.i think they are the same as the 4runner,so try checking the listings for one.

        99.9% sure youre master cylinder seals shot and allowing fluid to creep past thus not holding pedal pressure

          It could be worth changing the fluid first. Water contamination can give similar symptoms and old fluid is hygroscopic

              went out today and chANGED the brake fuild and blead the whole system starting at the compensator done this twice just to make sure all the air had gone got a reaaly good pedal then it started to creep again so after phoning milners roughtrax and a few other online shops they all told me that this is a main dealer part only so phone yota up in dundee and they quoted £204+vat for a new one or £71+vat for repare kit sod that took a risk and bought on from ebay
