temp gauge

Hi All. Have changed atf this morning and changed the coolent.But temp gauge still reads half way even though iv changed the temp sender.can anyone say if this is a normal read out or running hot. also i have rear heaters
but they are running cold,have i got a blockage some where or am i missing somit.
