It works, but you don't need to get him your cash, we get this thread 3 or 4 times a fortnight!!



It just stops the EGR working, just pull the pipe off and block the pipe.

Its just a ball bearing placed inside the tube from the EGR ( Exhaust Gas Return) valve, it stops spent gasses going back into the engine, good for better running , bad for some emissions gasses, though not ones that are tested as part of the british mot , the same can be achieved with a cable tie, just do a search on the forum for EGR , it'll all become clear,I may sound as if I am well in the know , but I only read up on it myself a couple of weeks ago, after a similar post relating to similar item on ebay, seems once one person has worked out you can charge upto £4.00 for a 4p bearing everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.
