Does anyone know why, when I lock my surf using the standard "zapper" on my key, does the horn sound on the second press?

Is it deadlocks, alarms or just a toot to tell me that I am a dumb dumb (being polite) for locking the car twice?

    Thanks

It turns out it is me being the dumb dumb indeed.

I am new to this forum and I have only just figured out how to search the older threads. This query has been raised a few times before with various but inconclusive answers.

In future I will be sure to see if the answer is already posted here.

      Thanks anyway.
