hit the drive plate on the edge, over each cone washer (mind the wheel studs) and it'll pop right off.Originally posted by zuluhas anyone had a right old battle getting the hub off there front axel? i want to change my front dics and cant seem to get the $$$$$$ thing off i undo the six nuts insert two eight m/m bolts tighten and give the whole lot a wack but it just wont free am i doing something wrong or shall i hit it harder?

Generally no, even if the gasket breaks it only holds grease in, not oil, and not much gets up past the locking nuts and washers anyway. I generally don't bother, just bit of RTV sealant if the gasket looks to bad.4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...
