Oil Leak. Arrrrrgggghhhh!!!!!!!

To my horror I've just noticed a small patch of oil on the drive. It's as black as night and if touched it's a bu**er to wash off your hands.

Had a look underneath and it appears to be coming from where the offside drive shaft enters the front diff?? (I assume it's the front diff).

Any advice on this problem, is it a fix it yourself one or a garage job? Is there a replacable oil seal in there.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If its black it's more likely to be engine oil not diff oil, you need to check in daylight, but its prob coming from above and dripping onto the diff housing
