3.0ltr 2 Gen Head Pic

Just changed the cylinder head on my 3.0ltr 2 gen with 140.000km on the clock, hope this is not a fault with the 3.0ltr
added a pic for you all to see, the smaller crack in the combustion chamber is repeated on all 4, a heavy d.i.y repair bill, the job is not to hard to do as the replacement head and gaskets from milners were spot on for fitting, surf now up and running...Great

Its an unusual place to crack, cracks in the pre-combustion chambers are normal an not much to be worried about unless lumps look like they are going to fall out, but they can be replaced seperately.

All the 3.0 heads I've done (only 3 or 4 in a year) have cracked between the valves like the 2.4's, BUT everyone had a serious overheat episode that caused the damage, unlike the 2.4's
