Hello everybody, I'm the new guy.
About to become a happy owner I hope..

I put a deposit on a 94' 3.0TD SSRX yesterday from a small garage. The body and interior looked great and it sounded fine, I was assured that everything works, but there was signs of an oil leak somewhere about the engine. The bottom of the engine had a thin covering of oil, not really enough to drip and leave a puddle while it was standing but obviously had been there for sometime.

I was just wondering what and where it could be coming from. Anyone know of any common problems and any big costs that it might incur.

hi and welcome to the home of nutters
on the 2nd gen 3lt there is a catch pan under the oil filter to catch any oil when changing the filter it may be coming from that

if your not sure about it leave it alone and go somewhere else there are lots to choose from...
