Cut Wires in Centre Consol - Wiring Diagram needed.

Hi all you Surf Owners.

I am having great trouble with my Air Con not working when the gear lever is in D or R. It works great when it's in P or N. I have found 2 wires just under the ash tray that have been cut. I can't find the other ends. one is red and white with the occasional bluw stripe, the other is purple and white with the odd red stripe. Anyone know what these are for?

a wiring diagram would be very helpful about now. Or does anyone have a Haynes manual for a 3.0 lt TD 1994? I am willing to buy it, or borrow if you are local to Huddersfield.

Any help would be appreciated. The weather is only getting hotter and it's annoying not being able to use the Aircon.

Sounds like it has something to do with an immobiliser or the inhibitor switch on the transmission maybe.
The only thing I can suggest is remove the centre consol and have a look under there.
