  • radiator recore

Noticed about 5-10% fins on radiator on my manual 3.0TD are trashed.
lost a few more after driving through a deep pool recently.
Better get it sorted before summer.

    how much is a recore?

Barry at roughtrax emailed me back and has just today added re-con radiators to his site. 185+vat - for recore and new top-tank - using toyota parts - so will probably a lot better than an 160+vat milners one.

might have to go with roughtrax one, as need truck everyday, so getting recore might be inconvenient, but wonder how much cheaper.

I would say that is a good price, it cost me about that for a recore new bottom tank and atf cooler (landy one) at a local independant rebuilder
Did I mention I have a BLUE one
