does anyone now if there is a surf being broken near wigan i need a steering idler arm for mot

You would probably be better off getting a new one from Milners or Roughtrax. Used are just as likely to fail the MOT as your current one.

Dismantle the arm. If the plastic bushes inside the arm are just worn then you can buy replacement ones from Milners for a few squid. If the shaft itself is all rusty and corroded (as a lot seem to be) then it's a complete new idler arm needed, but you'll notice the difference in handling so it's worth it.

Don't dismantle the old then- you might be gutted if it was just the £2 plastic bushes!
