Hi
I've just upgraded from a 1991 2.4 Surf to a 1996 3.0 3rd gen surf. The engine performance is night n day, the 3rd gen is so much livelier. What impressed me most about the 2.4 was its ride quality, it was very smooth and very car like. However I have found that the 3rd gen does not ride as well. Its a bit more 'jiggy', more what I expect from a 4x4 such as a Discovery but not as bad.
It has the standard 3rd gen alloys and the tyres are running 25psi. Is this something I have to get use to or should I try lowering the tyre pressures a bit more.

. My old 2.4 was a much better ride, i am hoping some new h/d springs and new shocks will sort the problem. I was really looking forward to getting my 3rd gen and all this seems to have taken the shine off it a little
. Wish i had stuck with my old 2nd gen now !!
