warning light..again

good morning all
have just compleated a rebuild, all back together except bash plate - in case of leaks! took the beast for a short spin ..lovely..however on the way back the engine warning light came on when over 1500 revs now on & off not particularly in line with anything. I have checked all the loom conections also the vac pipes and all appear to be OK, is there a likely cause, any sugestions welcome
I have done a search but can only find about ecu codes re 2.4 & 2.8's is mine the same, how do i get them to indicate etc??

Have you tried unpluging the ECU for about 20 mins. reconnect and it should reset itself.
It's behind the plastic panel ,left hand side, passenger footwell.
