Fuel FIlter Warning light

I have just installed a heat exchanger and am now running 100% Veggie - but the fuel filter light has come on (which it didn't with the veg/diesel mix) I am guessing it is just becasue veg oil is denser than diesel so the float in the filter rises and thinkis it has water in it... is that right? has anyone else had similar probs??

Nope, have run VERY high percentages here without problems of that nature.

interesting.... I have changed the filter for a brand new one and the light stays on.... I guess I'll have to try sticking a bit of dino diesel in it and see if it goes out again....

Perhaps it is something to do with the fact that I am heating the oil....it goes through the filter pretty hot...
