  • Suspect Glow Plugs

    Hi all
My 3.0L '94 4Runner has taken to only running on two or three cylinders and chucking out white smoke (smelling of diesel) when it starts from cold.
I suspect the glow plugs, but I thought I better check with the board before doing any thing. My questions are
    1. Are the glow plugs the likely culprits?
    2. Can they be cleaned or is it best to just replace them?
    3. Is it a difficukt job?
    4. Where's the best place to get some (Toyota quoted £45 each!)
    Any help would be appreciated
    Neill
