No Gears... No move

  • No Gears... No move

    3 weeks old and i think i have a major problem already can anyone help?

    Basically there is no rive when i select d/r or 1 and 2 etc etc... just a whirring noise when i put it back in park!

    anybody had the same problem that can help?

    Check that you have'nt knocked the short gear lever into neutral by accident.
    Put main lever into park or neutral, then put short lever into 'H', then try drive again.

      check the 4wd selector is not in AT/P

                if you think thats bad, twice now i have tried to back out of a space with the thing in D. its my first automatic, its not my fault!

                  i did the opisiate to that the other day... backed out of the path... thought i had put it in D put my foot down... nearly hit a parked car behind me... not a fun day lol
