Weird, I took that info from RB's site. I'll do a search on Yotatech later. See what I can find.

Will let you know how i get on later this week after they've been changed.

Well the front shocks have finally been replaced and WOW what a difference! No more 'floating' front end, no more harsh shuddering and vibration. Feels like a totally different truck now and I can't believe how I lived with it before. And the best bit is that it cost me £0.00

Love my surf even more now

And the dealer even replaced the lens on my fog light for free which I broke at Devils Pit (cos they didn't fit the new shocks properly 1st time round!)

          Rob,

          What were yours replaced with?

Are they the Coil-overs like mine?

It seems that they had many different set-ups!

Has anyone replaced the Coil Over Units on this forum? and how much are they - shock only for something decent?!

The suspension is totally standard (as far as I know) and the shocks were replaced with new genuine Toyota ones (adjustables). My bump stops were cut by a previous owner. I can see two bump stops on each side at the front - only one on each side has been cut though...

People usually cut the bump stops after turning the torsion bars to lift the front a little. After tweaking the T/bars you only have an inch or so gap and the truck rides hard over the smallest bumps. Cutting the bump stops lets it move a little more.

Or they may have done it just to get a little more flex on the front when offroading.
