New Heads

I am about to have a new head fitted to my surf, the original has cracked in 4 different places.

I still have concern over the reliability I will get from the Surf after this is done. I would appreciate comments from those of you that have had a new head fitted and if you have had further problems or not. Is this likely to happen again? The radiator, water pump etc are OK.

Also where is the best place to buy a head from.

Any advice appreciated.

The head (amongst other things) failed on mine the night I picked it up, it was fully rebuilt complete with new head, recon rad and new water pump, temp gauge goes to just under half way now and stays there.
Happy with the whole package now and spending less time morbidly staring at the temp...
