  • Turbo lights

I have just bought some glow gauges off the Internet for my 1990 surf.
Got them from the US and they look the dogs….

Trouble is now I have them in my grubby little mitts, is the rev counter one has no holes for the turbo lights.

Can anyone see a problem if I cover them up?

Don’t think I can cut a hole in them as they are not transparent dials, depending on the position of a switch they glow blue or green (scared putting a hole in it will brake the dial).

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Glo Guages

    Hi Paul

You can cut holes in them. I did with mine...Just do it carefully !!!!
I also altered the speedo and tacho to read correctly for diesel vehicle.
(search my previous posts) Finished glo guages look good when fitted.

Normal is just a wash setting.

Hi, I have fitted these Gauges and it is possible to cut some small holes in for the Turbo & Engine check lights just be very carefully also I put a small washer over / around each cut hole to tidy it up. Have a look at pictures attached.
