  • how the f$%£ do remove flywheel bolts??!!

So on the way home yesterday the clutch finally lost the will to grip!
Pulled trans today (which is a bitch of a job on ya own, on ya back in the gravel) and oil all over the clutch, looks to be rear main seal.

My question is this......how the %$£@ do you get the flywheel bolts out, they are tighter than a nuns $%@&!!!

Any help on this much appreciated, Surf is my "work" truck and I'm already down a days earnings!!!

You'll need a Good compressor n a Air gun + a good long breaker bar + good 3lb hammer appropriate socket & a lump of scaffold bar.....

Assuming the fly wheel bolts have never been undone before (locktited when fitted) even with an Air Gun n socket the shock won't be enough...
Try ya breaker bar n socket n if ya brute force ain't enough, wedge the flywheel n use ya scaffold bar.... A good forceful clean jerk will break the seal on the bolt n if that don't work use ya hammer beating on the scaffold pole, the shock is what ya need + a bit of brute force too ....
    Good Luck
