Hope you're getting on ok with it, and I suppose if the radweld's working it's working. However, I'd advise that you now plan a rad re-core or replacement, and a thorough flush-through and new stat.
You'll really regret it if it overheats, as a wee bit spent now will seem nothing next to the head job... The viscous fan is well worth doing also, you can get the silicon oil required for a few quid from a radio-control car supplier (they use it in the shocks apparently!).

New radiator arrived
Not as good as a 3 core Roughtrax unit.
bought as a temporary replacement while my leaking rad gets repaired.
Surprised it came with drain tap & oil cooler connectors.
