    I think you made a very wise decision there. At least you enjoyed the journey without worrying about the towing, especially as it was so windy. Post the pics when you can, I love that part oif the world.

      I used to pull nearly 1600KGS with my old 2.4 Surf with no issues

        Here are the few pictures I took from my move.

        The first 12 hours looked like this




        Northern Saskatchewan got a bit better.








        Then after Edmonton it was smooth sailing, truck ran great, lots to see.


        44.1km from Grande Prairie, where I live now.

            Best part of the trip was walking into that fancy hotel. It was absolutely freezing outside, I was on the road against the wind all day and just need somewhere with power parking and available rooms. That was the only place I found. I walk in with dirty pants, a snowmobile jacket and a 6 pack of beer in grocery bag then realized what kind of hotel I just walked into. I have never felt so out of place haha.

            When I left Regina, Saskatchewan it was -51 celcius with the windchill. Made it to Edmonton within maybe 8 hours but that was the worst drive ever. So slow and so cold.
