smoking/fog light

Hi, I have had my 2.4 surf for just a few weeks and put some Redex stuff in and now if I rev the engine black smoke appears - is this meant to happen? No sign of any smoke before treatment. Also, the rear fog light has stopped working - it seems to be connected to the radio backlight somehow which has also stopped working. I have checked all the fuses I could find (drivers right side and under the bonnet) but they all look fine.

Could be burning the old c**p off now, as for the radio, more fuses behind glove box and in engine bay also I think if I remember correctly the radio is off the cigarette lighter fuse??

Also fog lamp should be off side lamp fuse as they are not supposed to work without at least sidelights on.
