Already checked, no fault codes. Just got 55 or whatever it is for all okay.

Definitely feels like a fuel delivery issue, I just can't find it. No visible leaks. Issue only arrived after installing new injectors

Does it rev above 3000? Or just sort of drop then change gear..?

Wild card but could be blocked pickup in the tank. Thats what mine was

You cpuld back blow it with air to see if that is it, to save removing the tank to find it isnt. If it is that then clean the tank....

For me what happened was, i have a fuel primer off an outboard which was getting sucked flat as the pump couldnt get any fuel through

I could get speed but only by slow accelaration

Have you disconnected the batteries for 10 mins and then tried?
Make sure you fire up the engine and leave idlieing for 10 mins. No throttle. Apparently that resetsthe ecu and thetiming or something. The ecu could be confused by dofferent injectors. Just a thought

I wasn't aware that you had to let it idle for 10 minutes. I will try that

I just realized this weekend that my primer pump doesn't seem to get hard. I can just keep pushing it. Would this indicate an air leak somewhere? how woukd I test this?

Mine didn't work either when I changed my fuel filter, I filled up the filter with fresh derv then sucked through fuel from the tank. Not the nicest thing to do but it got it started then the pump takes over.
If you have had it running I doubt the primer would make much difference though, once it's primed it usually stays primed.
                      ALL THE GEAR!............no idea!

I take it my brainwave was to no avail?

You could always bypass the filter (is filter sealed properly?

Figured out my primer problem was just from me overtightening the water drain a little too much and it had a slow leak.

I have figured out my issue I believe though. I left the fuel filter empty and sucked air through the system. Doing this caused a few bubbles to start coming out of the fitting on the cyl #2 injector. I've had it off a few times but I guess it wasn't seating properly (it was a very small leak). Bled the fuel system afterwards and took it for a drive, much better now. It's still no speed demon but it's reasonable enough for what it is. Even spun the tires a touch (welded diff with 5.29s pushing 35s). May turn the fuel pump up a very small amount but I'll give this a try and see what it is like and if it puts out any black smoke. If it gives off any I'll leave the pump alone. I may still try to reset the ECU as mentioned just because it hasn't been since I've replaced my injectors as well as my turbo and did the EGR blockoff. Thanks for the help all.

One more question, I couldn't get the truck to go in to test mode. I could pull codes (1, normal) but when I jumpered TE2 and E1 the CEL wouldn't flash when I turned the key on which from what I've read it should. Anything I may be missing out on for future reference? The truck does not have an immobiliser as far as I know.

after driving today I find the truck to still be a little sluggish and still won't hit 100kmh. gonna pick away more at it I guess...

Truck still isn't a power house by any means. Still seems sluggish until the turbo hits about 10 psi. Going to look into timing but there's not much more I can see any problem with. Engine swap is starting to sound good already, so sick of this engine.
