  • Auto gearbox problems

While on holiday in Devon last week my Turbo went on my ln130 the local garage has sorted this, but now I have no drive, and there are some nasty noises coming from the torque converter area, when recovered by the RAC they removed the propshaft.Does any one have any idea's, has somthing been left off during the turbo change, has removing the prop messed somthing up?
    All suggestions gratefully recived!
If the wost comes does any one know where to get a autobox & converter, or repair for that matter?

Removing the turbo may have disturbed the exhaust downpipe, I wouldn't think thta anything has got in the gearbox or torque converter area - It shouldn't have needed to be touched.

However when the propshaft was put back on was it in the same place - did they mark up the flange. The double cardan joint at the front end of the propshaft likes to run the same as before as it will have worn unevenly. It maybe that it is this that is causing the noise. Also make sure that the transfer case is fully engaged. They may well have knocked it into neutral but slightly back in gear and you maybe getting some noise from the gears being partially engaged on the transfer box.

        Cheers
