  • Steering lock

Is the steering lock a normal mechanical one which turns off with the key, or is it electrionic? Just today it sounded like it came on when my wife was driving? She rang me and as i was speaking to her, the steering came back whilse reversing a wee bit. She said it was solid, so not power steering related. Its been fine for me since i picked it up, but i think i will disconnect the lock for piece of mind.
Also, sometimes the windows still work when the key is out??? Deffo sounds like something going on with ignition switch, but need to sort the lock out, i can live with windows staying on ect ect
    What comes around goes around!!

It's mechanical but it's synced up depending on how far you turned your key.
windows should only work when you have turned the keys in and turned into the "on" part of the ignition.

    I hope this helps somehow.

Windows work when ignition is turned off and keys out, as long as the drivers side door is open. All this ceases when door is closed.
