2.4 dash lights out and no no gears no 4x4???

hi guys i recently fitted another gearbox only to find the 4x4 wont work today i fixed the 4x4 got it all up and running right but after trying just 2 make sure it suddenly stopped engaging 4x4 also some dash lights dont work od wont work no kickdown and i have to manually select th gears so i can pull off???? any ideas guys?? ive disconnected both batteries ive checked fuses and connections i just dont know where 2 go now any help would be much appreciated thanx in advance its gotta b simple surely???

The multi-plug on the passenger side of the transmission is for the solenoids, check that it's secure.

Also check the multi-plug on the driver's side, this is the gear position/neutral start switch plug.

If those two plugs are secure, then it's got to be a fuse/relay or ECT ECU problem.

You have got enough oil it haven't you? Silly to mention. But easy to miss

Yes bud oil is there further 2 this my alternator packed up so mow its not running and still no batt, oil warning lights on dash its all connected some how

The alt could be the fault from the start! Lack of power will cause all sorts of problems and the box being auto is electrical!!! Fix the alternator

Hi mate it ended up being the charging fuse it had an hairline crack in it very hard 2 spot thanx for all the help
