Rather hoping the adults can shed some light on this for me?
As someone has mentioned the "s" word,I have checked the antifreeze in the truck and well it needs replacing.

As I will using one of the proprietary radiator flushing solutions to clean out the coolant systems and I have access to MEG can I use this or would you suggest using a named coolant?


I should add that it has multi metal corrosion inhibitors and that I will be making up with deionised water.

Good point!my supply is also neat and has a consistency of something approaching vodka that has been left in the freezer but I was diluting it.
