Tyres for std wheels

Hi My first post


I am about t buy a 2.4 td k reg surf, it has 15" alloys std ones, but all the tyres are shot.

What is the best size tyre to go for, i am looking for looks, 50% road 50% off
also i dont want any hassle rubbing arches etsc just the best oversize,

any ideas guys ???

No advice really, can only point you in the direction of a website I was directed to when i bought my Surf, seems reasonably priced on tyres I think.. Click here

hi dont know about oversized tyres but i buy all my tyres from a company called micheldever tyres just off the A303 near Andover. its about an hour from mine but the saving is worth it. not sure if they post tyres out or not but they do have a website. as an indication i bought 4 new tyres for my surf about 3 weeks ago, Kumho all terrain they look the business and have been good on the road havent been off road with them yet,cost me about £270 the lot fitted and balanced, dont think youll beat that even with the fuel costs getting there, just make it a day out, lots to go and see in that area. if you need more details of how to get there etc feel free to email me at davidmiller605@tesco.net.

Hi, my first post too!
I've been reading this site for months and the info gained is invaluable - need more peops in Wales joining us please!!
Anyway getting back to the subject of tyres, I've just ordered 4 brand new colway remoulds, 31/10.50/R15 mud terrains BF Goodrich copies, all for £179 including £15 delivery charge from Snowdon tyres.
sowden4x4tyres@btopenworld.com, (Mark Sowden) will post some pics when received and fitted, if I can work out how.
