I had loads of fun with the sump gaskit on mine, you can't get the sump off without removing the engine. I rebuilt my engine and used that blue hermatite on the sump, it leaked like mad around the rear crank oil seal housing. I chose to remove the gearbox, as I thought it was the rear oil seal, but found it was the sump. As I couldn't remove the sump I removed the plate with the oilseal off the back of the engine and used some sealant called tiger bond, it's better now but still has a little leakage here and there, don't use blue hermatit make sure it's a silicon sealer.
