Servicing the BEAST in the Thames Valley

OK ...was it something we said - no one has replied to even say hi....
If there is a secret code of conduct please do enlighten us.....

Can anyone local to us (Windsor) recommend a garage where we can get it checked over without being fleeced!

We have just bought our BLACK 2.4TD SURF home and very proudly parked it on the verge rather than in a parking space, went off road over a roundabout on the way back - am thrilled.....yeah yeah - we'll get to getting it muddy when we can afford learn how to do it properly and afford to fix what we break!

Because we are big 's and might chip our nail polish....Can anyone local to us (Windsor) recommend a garage where we can get it checked over without being fleeced!

there is a place in chertsey just after the bridge heading for Sheperton called 'something autos' ? the guy I use there is called Dennis (one man band place). He does all the pre / service work for Windisor Classics (Surf / Pajero imports place) in Chertsey. He seems fairly resonable on price and does good work.

Haven't used him for a while as I do all my own servicing (its just too easy on these cars) but would use him for any other stuff I wasn't comfortable with.

Thanks Mart, we'll check him out, for a minute I thought we had been black balled before we'd even started

I too hope that one day we'll be servicing ourselves, we are starting with removing nasty stickers and mirrored film and will graduate further as we gain confidence!
