Hey guys

How do you test these without an airline?

I cant seem to feel the rod move when the engine is reved, or does it have to be on boost

when I bought the truck it had over 2mm washers packing the actuator plate so I removed them as there was no boost gauge installed but it never overboost or shutdown so Im at a loss
The turbo seems to boost nicely but I cant tell if the wastgate is working as its my first turbo car so I have no idea what to listen for

You need about 16psi to get open the actuator, then you should be able to move the rod by hand.

It must be working or you'd you get the orange check light on when it overboosts higher up the rev range.

If everythings running ok I'd say it was fine.
