Starting Problems - fuel filter

Hi

I recently started using biodiesel, the other day whilst driving the fuel filter light came on on the dashboard.

After checking what to do in the manual it recommended draining off the filter at the bottom, which I did, water came out, reconnected it and started fine left it running for 10 mins and thought problem sorted as fuel filter light on dash went out - thought hey presto problem fixed.

Went to start her today (next day) and won't start! the glow plug light comes on and goes off as normal but when you turn her over she trys and fails to start then lots of clicking noise. Have pressed the priming pump but won't go hard.

HELP!!!!

Sounds like you have flat batteries.

yep flat battery!

Thanks yep felt like a right plonker just got AA out and it was a flat battery!!!

Any ideas about what type is needed to replace? really am a numpty at times

Depends of if you have the twin or single setup on your truck ?

If you have the twin setup then These should be OK
