I am in the process of purchasing a K reg 2.4 Surf, it all seems ok except for one small problem, the rev counter appears to be reading about 500 rpm too high. I have had my off roader Surf for over 7 years so you kinda get know what the engine sounds like at certain revs. The "new" Surf is reading 1100RPM at tickover and is just off 4000RPM at 70MPH. Has anyone else encountered this problem and is there a cure. Thanks in advance all.
