is there a difference between hi lux surf2.4tdssrx and surf 2.4tdssrx.log book states surf,garage state hi lux!!!! i just like it so am not really bothered but insurance co will want to know. sorry for being stupid!!!!!

No difference, same Surf.
Registration office has probaly not included the Hilux part of the Surf name, or maybe whoever filled out the registration form missed Hilux off.
In anycase a Surf is a Hilux Surf, same car.
When dealing with insurance company tell them its a Toyota Hilux Surf, it's correct name.
