White smoke????
My 97 2.4 won't start straight away, only after I turn it over about 3 times, as I'm turning it over I get White smoke coming out, when it finally starts I get a loud knocking noise a load more White smoke an it runs fine, if I start it again within ten mins it starts ok, but any longer an it happens again??? I just changed the engine from a surf to a pick up an the only thing I changed was a temp sensor on the top of the fuel pump! Any ideas??? Also anyone know what the little sensor on top of the fuel pump does? It's the one nearest the timing belt?
