No offence taken, but while the air con rad is in place, im dammed if i can even see the bottom of the rad , though in hindsight ive been trying to lookup through the p/s wheel arch.

OK, see if this helps. This view is through the NSF wheel arch. IF your rad is standard, the yellow arrow indicates where the drain tube for the drain plug is. If you follow the tube it should end up just underneath the drain plug.

The smaller red circle you should be able to look through to see the lower edge of the rad. The larger circle is where the condenser fan is located, and I put my arm through that gap and used pliers to reach forward to undo the plug.

If none of this helps you, I'd advise removing the condenser rad and getting a better view of the bottom hose.

EDIT: Looking at your pics now, you are looking through the cover that is above the one you need to look through. You need to look lower down.

Thanks DM, ill use it to try and locate, BUT sods law, its just started tipping down here in wales, so it may be a while before i get back to you. The flap you mention is to high, should i try to replace the popper that broke or just leave it as is, i dont off road?

Wouldn't worry too much about the cover/flap. As you can see on mine it's missing completely. But maybe make sure it's secure enough so it doesn't get caught on the tyre using a tie strap/self tapping screw or a popper from somewhere else.

thanks, ill get back to you as soon as the dam rain stops and dries up a bit, having a go at this is one thing, getting soaked is another, typical button pusher

Ok all, have now found bottom hose, well covered by air con rad so thats going to have to come off, (and stay off) ( no bleed plug either that i can see)
However, ive disconnected the pipes from the air con, but failed miserably to move the front two big nuts that hold the air con bracket. Im assuming theres no way to slide the rad out so all four corners ( two large at front, two smaller at the back with rubbers above them)will have to be loosend, which they wont. Any tips please, been soaking them in WD for two days.
                  thanks

Hi all, air con rad now off and up for beggin if anyone needs one (f.o.c. if collected).

Top, middle/ bottom rad hoses changed for new and new clips.
By pass for electric fan wired in from sensor (be it the right temp or not), just got to add switch in accessible place under dash.
All new antifreeze after a dam good flush, but holding off for your replies.
Was going to add K Seal but noticed another pipe that seems to be wet and slightly dripping.( on to a long brass nut) However, cant see anything on roughtrax or milners that i can compare to this pipe. It also looks like a bit of a botch make do job added before i had the truck.
Can anyone identify the following and direct me in the right direction for a replacment.

                    thanks

Thats how it goes, but they don't normally have jubilee clips and it has raggidy edges so someone has changed it already.

May have been a duff dit of hose, or overtightened the clips. Just replace the short bit of hose.

Thanks Tony, but is there a name for the hose, or a part number, or do i try to do a similar patch job but a bit more carefully. Id prefer to get an original if poss but where to start for a part number ??

99556-30300 for both those short lengths of hose. Just buy some good quality Heater Hose and cut to length. You need 5/8' or 16mm. These two hoses being close to engine always become brittle. Should be replaced if they are ever disturbed. Check hose connection points for corrosion and clean before fitting new hose. A little Loctite Aviation Form A Gasket (No 3) is what I always use on hose fittings.
