Hello again, picked up a replacement gearbox from Vince and had it in place last night. Today we put everything back together, filled the auto box and with fingers and toes crossed fired the engine. Nervously engaged drive and had that welcoming thud....GEARS ENGAGING..until my mate told me to shut off the engine as it dumped the fluid. This time however it came from the oil-cooler, split pipe.....phew. Driving a bit smokey but RUNNING with no leaks. Drove it 2 miles to a mates farm to park it up for a day or two as no tax. Drove it with minimum trans fluid (to late to buy more at trade price), quite lumpy at low revs, not much power due to low trans fluid most prob, turbo whistling but no light on and the O/D light flashing, hoefully cause of low fluid or electrical fault. Really good to drive it again though apart from the niggles.....
