With the amount of thefts for these Surfs. I would like to install a second key switch to prevent starting, can anyone let me know the best wires or way to do this in cab, but I would really like not to have to go under the bonnet each time to start it ie:pulling main fuse lol, many thanks guys

It could be done but the electric system on the surf is dfferant, all the feeds for the electrics are taken from the off-side battery (assuming you have 2 batteries) and only the heavy duty start cable goes directly to the solenoid. You could fit one of them switches between the battery and feed cables and put a link in with a low current fuse to keep the clock/radio/central locking live but would blow if trying to draw major current like the glow plugs.
It would take some playing about with to achieve.
What about a thatchem approved immobiliser?Bring me the head of a treehugger
