    Umbrella at the ready !
the hardening of the copper is a very vaild point, which is why i have used a coiled design with no acute bends , in effect it looks like a spring.the copper is the type used in refrigeration applications ie high heat +80'C and high pressure 25 Bar it is used to being heated and cooled and is subject to vibration.
but having said all of that your comments are noted , this is only the mark 1 version.the pipe costs me nothing, the whole execise is to improve the cooling on my truck and fitting an atf cooler seems to be the most logical and easy way to dump excess heat before it enters the rad.

i agree this is something i will keep an eye on. i was wondering if any other members have any details of what temperature they have recorded for there atf cooled or non cooled, and if any one has cut open a auto box rad to see the design of the cooler in there?
